Module mapping and financial assistance are not applicable to any online winter programmes. For online programmes taken while physically in Singapore, please note that, whilst credit-bearing by the partner universities, these are offered to NUS students for enrichment only.Due to the fluid situation of the COVID-19 pandemic and uncertainty regarding international travel in the months ahead, any aspect of the programmes can change at short notice. Some partner universities are adopting a hybrid format for their winter programmes in 2021, with some courses being offered online while others are being offered on-site. Students must be prepared to provide proof of arrival into the overseas destination and proof of departure from the overseas destination for verification of location during the overseas Winter Programme 2021 and any other information/supporting documents required by NUS, failing which credit transfer requests may be rejected. Update on 8 November 2021: NUS students travelling overseas for Winter Programmes 2021 taking place in that overseas destination, and taking recognised modules (whether online/offline/hybrid) will qualify for credit transfer/module mapping (subject to mapping approval of the course content by the faculties). You will be fully responsible for any and all travel expenses, quarantine accommodation costs, COVID-19 tests or other costs related to the measures imposed at that point of time, both in the host country and Singapore. Students are advised NOT to make any financial commitments particularly those which are non-refundable until you are certain that travel is possible. NUS will not be responsible for any lost deposits or expenses (including but not limited to programme/tuition fees, air tickets, housing deposits, meal plans and/or non-academic student fees) associated with travel disruptions. Students who proceed with the physical (on-site) option acknowledge the risks associated. attend a pre-departure briefing conducted by GRO. register with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs or your country’s diplomatic mission andĥ. declare their travel plans on the NUS Overseas Travel Declaration Portal Ĥ. submit a copy of their vaccination certificate and the completed Risk Acknowledgement and Consent Form when applying on EduRec ģ. complete the compulsory Overseas Travel Preparedness (OTP) module on LumiNUS Ģ. To be eligible for physical (on-site) winter programmes, students will need to:ġ. Do factor in the need for quarantine in the host country and stay-home notice upon return to Singapore when considering the feasibility of participating in winter programmes. Students’ ability to travel to a country for winter 2021 will be determined by the host country’s travel policies as well as any updates to the latest travel advisory from Singapore authorities. Due to the fluid situation of the COVID-19 pandemic, there is still much uncertainty regarding international travel in the months ahead. Students may be considering physical (on-site) winter programmes in 2021.
